About LRoS

Land Rovers of Switzerland has been founded during spring 1987. In 2007, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with a big birthday-party at Sarnen in central Switzerland.

LRoS has about 400 individual and family members. Our members are as different as their vehicles are. Some of us like to travel, others are passionated tinkerers and some others like to take their Landys out in the mud.

There are children and adults, younger and elderly, women and men, some of them are married and some others aren't, some have children and some others haven't. Never mind if one drives an old dog of Series one or the latest model of the Freelander, we are all unified by one thing: The myth of Landrover.

As a club, we try to unify all these different people and their interests. We exchange our experiences in the Ländi-Heftli (our publication) or on this website and we meet on a regular basis every last friday of the month to listen to someone speaking about a interesting topic, or watching a slide-show or just to discuss about our Landies. Actually, our members deceive themselves about the yearly program.

The participation at the different international Landrover meetings is as well a part of our activities, as the sharing of our passion with people from around the world and making common experiences off the road.
